Full Scope Optometry practice in Billings, MT offering ownership in 3 years! Off weekends!

This full-scope practice is growing leaps and bounds and has expanded to four lanes. The practice embraces performing medical optometry and has a unique offer to the incoming optometrist – immediately become owner of a lab and then ownership in 3 years.

Billings is the largest city in Montana. Nicknamed “Magic City” and also called “City Beneath the Rimrocks”, Billings has twice graced the Best Places to Live index and is known for its growing medical sector, spectacular natural attractions, outdoor bonanza of activities, and affordable housing. The revitalized downtown district houses a collection of interesting shops, independent restaurants and microbreweries that have also helped Billings land on livability.com’s Top Beer Cities list.

Some of the most remarkable ski mountains in the country are located an hour away, as well as Yellowstone National Park.  Billings is very close to several lakes and rivers too.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist (OD):

  • Cirrus HD-OCT, Daytona Optomap, Visual Field, etc.
  • 20-30% of patients need pathology exams
  • 4 lanes
  • See 10-15 patients a day
  • Tech provided
  • EMR – My Vision Express
  • Counsel patients regarding their vision needs

Requirements of the Optometrist (OD):

  • Doctorate of Optometry degree (OD)
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
