MD/OD group ophthalmology practice is interested in adding an associate due to growing need in the community. The practice is currently comprehensive in scope with cataract, glaucoma, medical retina, oculoplastic, and LASIK patients. The new associate will be handed off patients from the current surgeons. Optometrists in the practice see the primary care and co-manage patients with the ophthalmologists in the practice. Surgery will be done in the practice owned surgery center that is well equipped for refractive cataract surgery. The practice also owns its own LASIK suite. The clinic has been recently built and is designed for efficiency and optimal patient flow. Techs work up all patients and 2 scribes are provided to the physicians.

The opportunity provides a great opportunity for mentorship in refractive surgery and LASIK.

Compensation will be a base salary of $300,000 with a production bonus – earning potential is very high. Partnership is expected to be offered after 2 years.

Anterior segment fellowship trained ophthalmologists are welcome to apply since patients of all types are referred out of the practice.

Requirements of the Comprehensive Ophthalmologist

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified/Eligible
• Open to 2023 residents/fellows
