Full time position where a new associate will have an opportunity to assume the volume of surgeons who are slowing down and headed for retirement. This opportunity will afford an ophthalmologist the opportunity to see a diverse patient population. Currently the scope of the practice includes cataract surgery, refractive surgery, medical retina, and glaucoma patients.
A new associate will be at a single clinical location with ample support staff and the opportunity to set their own schedule in clinic. Surgery will be done in a surgery center nearby with refractive cases done at a nearby LASIK center. The practice welcomes new surgical skills and is open to expanding the scope of the practice to suit the new associate’s desires. The practice will also afford an opportunity to be academically involved.
Fellowship trained candidates are welcome to apply as the practice currently refers out cases in ever sub-specialty. Referrals would be easy to garner given the current referral sources of the practice.
Requirements of the Ophthalmologist
- Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified/Eligible
- Open to 2020 residents and fellows
