A group ophthalmology practice is looking for a new associate who will focus mostly on cataract surgery and assist with comprehensive patients. The group has a large co-managed referral network of optometrists and needs an associate who enjoys doing a high volume of surgery. Some patients elect for premium lenses but the group does not put a heavy emphasis on implanting them; this is a decision that will be left up to each surgeon. The practice has 2 clinic locations and owns its own surgery center.

A new associate will have a great deal of autonomy in how they build their schedule. Call is very light for the practice and makes for a great work life balance. Being a physician owned practice, this group is offering a partnership track that would allow for a buy into the surgery center and practice itself. A new associate will receive a base salary with a production bonus – a bonus can be expected year one given the back log of referrals and patients that will get a new associate busy.

Requirements of the Ophthalmologist

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified/Eligible
• Open to 2023 residents and fellows
