Established MD/OD ophthalmology practice is interested in adding a comprehensive ophthalmologist due to growing clinical and surgical needs in the practice – particularly to help with the high volume of cataract surgery. Cornea or glaucoma fellows are welcome to apply as well. The practice is very optometrically friendly and co-manages with optometrists in the practice and in the community. Patients will be available on arrival due to volume from other surgeons in the practice. In this practice there are all types of patients to be seen except for pediatric patients.

In clinic the new associate will be provided tech support and a scribe. Surgery will be done in the practice owned surgery center. Travel to a satellite location is expected 3 days per month. Optometrists cover call for the practice with very few patients ever being referred to the ophthalmologist.

An equal share partnership track will be offered as well. The practice is open to a 4 day work week.

Requirements of the Comprehensive Ophthalmologist

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified/Eligible
• Open to 2023 residents
