Hometown MD/OD Ophthalmology practice is looking for a new associate on a partnership track. This position will be surgically heavy the practice currently co-managing most cases with referring optometrists and the one OD internally. There will be the occasional primary eye care.

Clinically the new associate will see mostly surgical consultations with some medical retina patients and have ample tech support and will be able to have a scribe. The new associate will benefit from the current surgeon handing down patients as well as all the new patients in the practice. Growth has come predictable year over year.

The current surgeon is doing about 1,000 cases per year, mostly cataracts, with patients who occasionally elect for premium lenses. The surgery center used by the practice is equipped with ORA. There are also investment opportunities in the surgery center.

• Single clinic location – no satelliting
• All surgery done in a surgery center

• Large external referral network of Optometrists
• No hospital call, practice call triaged before going to MDs

Fellowship trained ophthalmologists are welcome to apply – the referral network will be able to easily help build cases within a given sub-specialty.

Requirements: M.D./D.O. and Board Certified/Eligible.
